Hiking – West Bench Trail on Grand Mesa LIT Hike

This will be an LIT hike for Judy Mayne.

Hike the West Bench trail from Jumbo Reservoir to the trail intersection above Powderhorn Ski Area and then return by the same route. We will park at Jumbo Reservoir at the pull off on Hwy 65 which is approx 5.4 miles past the turn for Powderhorn Ski Area. Be prepared to pay $8 (or have a national parks pass) for possible parking at the Mesa Lakes area if necessary. Bring your 10 essentials including rain gear and footwear suitable for hiking in alpine conditions.

Meet at the City Market across from the fuel center, in Clifton, at the intersection of Hwy 70 Business with 32 Road (Highway 141). Google says the address is " 569 32 Rd, Grand Junction, CO 81504".  Meeting time 730AM. Arrive 15 minutes early to leave promptly at 730AM.
