Hiking – RMOTHG Mount Nystrom Trail

Please bring your mask.  No dogs.  No jeans.  This hike is limited to fully vaccinated RMOTHG members only.

We will meet at Woolly Mammoth Parking lot section MM at 6:20 with a prompt departure at 6:30 AM.  Bring masks for carpooling and be prepared to drive yourself.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:  I-70 West to exit 234, Downieville for a snack/bathroom  stop.  Traveling again  west on I-70 to Exit 232 or US 40 . Follow US 40 through Empire (Watch your speed) to the Big Bend Picnic Area.  Turn left onto the Henderson Mine Rd./ Jones Pass Rd.  Follow this road for 1.8 miles and turn right at the barricade to stay on the Jones Pass Road.  Continue to the first parking lot on the left.  The trailhead is right across the road.
