Intermediate Snowshoe – Francie's Cabin and Beyond

Francie's Cabin sits in an absolutely gorgeous cirque that includes: Mount Helen, Father Dyer Peak, Crystal Peak and Peak 10.  To the east we'll also have nice views of Bald Mountain. 

Please note:  Our highpoint is 11,475' ... so while this is rated at "intermediate" and has a short amount of mileage, it will still be bordering on "challenging".

We will snowshoe SW up Spruce Creek Road, N on Aqueduct Road, head west on 4WD Road to point 11,475', on the way back we will head east on 4WD Road, S on Aqueduct Road, cross Spruce Creek Road and head south on Wheeler Trail until intersection with Spruce Creek Trail then we will snowshoe NE back to the trailhead.
