Our annual CMC Christmas Day trip. Cross-Country skiing and snowshoeing beginner to advanced at the Breckenridge Nordic Center, open to the public with a trail fee. Great lodge with extensive rentals. Brown bag options or food and drink to purchase. Guests welcome.

Just come to have a great day in the outdoors and meet some new friendly CMC'ers.
Our annual Christmas Day trip. Meet at 8:30 a.m. Christmas morning for carpooling from Denver to Breckenridge Nordic Center. Leader will designate carpooling meeting locations and will accommodate participants as far as possible, all will be in the Greater Denver Metro area. Optional dinner on return in Frisco at the Uptown Grill which prior CMC groups have raved about.
Required Equipment
The great lodge at the Breckenridge Nordic Center means we can come in from adverse or just plain cold weather at any time and warm up by the huge fireplace. But bring the usual gear for being outdoors snowshoeing and/or cross-country skiing. Weather on this annual trip has significantly varied each year. Some years dry roads all the way, other years snowy roads. Having the right and extra clothing will prepare you for the unexpected when driving in the mountains in the winter.
