Welcome to Rise & Grind – Guest Leader Edition, the CMC Boulder Group’s morning hiking and coffee series.  Our objective is to start our day off right with some exercise, good company and a little mindfulness.  In addition to the hike itself, we’ll pause on the summit for a moment of silent reflection and set our intentions for the day.  Afterward there will be an optional stop for coffee, symbolizing a fresh start and the energy needed to conquer the day. While Christopher is offline, the Guest Leader Edition will feature various guest trip leaders.

We will be hiking a loop:  Fowler Trail to Springbok Trail to Goshawk Ridge Trail, and back down to Fowler Trail.  4 miles, approximately 750' elevation gain.  The trip should take approximately two hours, but allow for up to three.

Please note, this is a before-work hike for some participants, so it’s important that we maintain our pace and finish promptly so folks can get to work on time.  Please know your own abilities and be considerate of the rest of the group when you sign up.

Meet at 6:30 am for a 6:35 departure.  Fowler Trailhead  is at the end of County Road 67.  County Road 67 is about 2.4 miles west of the intersection of Eldorado Springs Road and Co 93.  Park along the edge of the road.
