RMOTHG Trip – Butler Gulch
We will hike the lollipop loop around Butler Gulch. Starting in the trees we will follow the stream to timberline where we will ascend a short but steep section to the ridge overlooking the gulch. From there you will have views of Machebeuf, Parnassus among others. Then descending back to the mine and back down the tril we came up.

The trail starts off as an old jeep road until timberline then we will follow a steep and gravely trail to the ridge. There are a couple of stream crossings.
Meet at 7:00 am, at Section BB at the Wooly Mammoth Park & Ride for a prompt departure.
