An outstanding and challenging 9 mile / 2900 ft gain hike up the Tanglewood Trail near Bailey to Pegmatite Points - with spectacular views of Rosalie Peak and Mount Blue Sky and Approx Hike Time: 6 hours.

A good rule of thumb when considering what to pack (especially for hiking above treeline): Bring what you would need to stay warm & dry if you sprained your ankle or twisted your knee up on the mountain above treeline in a cold rain or hail storm and wouldn't be able to get down for several hours.
