This 7 mile / 1700' elev-gain hike has been described as a gorgeous, "super underrated trail" that begins in South Park near Jefferson. Challenges include some steep climbs and a steady, brisk pace of about 2 mph.

In order to make sure that this is an enjoyable hike for you... Please assess your current physical / aerobic conditioning to maintain a steady, brisk pace while climbing 1700' of elevation in 3.5 miles.
Meeting Time: 7:30 am
Meeting Place: Morrison PnR: 3485 S. Rooney Rd, Morrison, CO. From the Morrison Rd / CO 8 exit of 470 go west towards Morrison. Take immediate right on South Rooney Rd. Dirt Parking Lot is directly on your right across from the gas station/convenience store.
