RMOTHG Trip – Glacier Peak via Georgia Pass
This 6 mile / 1500 ft elevation-gain hike to Glacier Peak starts from the top of Georgia Pass (11,598'). Considered relatively mellow, this all-above-treeline route includes sections of 4wd road, the Colorado Trail, and off-trail tundra hiking. We should experience an abundance of wildflowers and spectacular views in all directions. Anticipated time to complete: 4 hours.

A good rule of thumb when considering what to pack (especially for hiking above treeline): Bring what you would need to stay safe, warm & dry if you sprained your ankle or twisted your knee up above treeline in a cold rain or hail storm and wouldn't be able to get down or be rescued for several hours.
