There is a restroom at South Valley but no spigot for filling water bottles so bring at least 1.5L of water, snacks, electrolytes, and jackets if chilly in the morning.  The trails are shade and full sun so layers are helpful. We will stop at the Deer Creek Canyon trailhead for a snack and restroom break before returning back to South Valley.  There will be other stops along the way.  This is an easy hike at a relaxed pace.
