RMOTHG Trip – Three Mile Creek

We will follow Three Mile Creek to the large meadow at the 4 mile point. This is a beautiful fall hike with cool mornings and wonderful aspen. Along the way we will cross the stream close to a dozen and a half times on various log crossings. The return route will be back down the stream.

We will meet at the Morrison Park and Ride, located at the intersection of C-470 (Rooney Rd) and Morrison Road.  Meet at 6:45 for a prompt departure.

Bring your 10 essentials and lunch.  Trekking poles are recommended for the water crossings.  Plan on changing weather conditions.  We are following a creek so the morning dampness can be cold and late September normally has cold mornings and warm afternoons.
