This is an introductory Toprope climbing session. Experience is not needed but it is helpful if you have been to a climbing gym. You will need a correctly fitting harness and helmet. Knowledge of how to tie into a rope is helpful but not mandatory. Climbing shoes are helpful by not mandatory. We will be focusing on climbs in the 5.5 to 5.10 range.

We'll meet at between 4:30-5:45 pm at JJ's at the NW corner of Taft Hill rd and 38E (Harmony Road), west side of that parking lot from which we'll carpool to the Duncans ridge to avoid filling that lot. An email the day before or day of will specify meeting time. We'll need (2) vehicles and can discussing carpooling at the meeting place. The drive is only 5 minutes from JJ's and offers a short approach to the toproping anchors and climbing area. Duncan's Ridge lot is dirtbag-climber friendly not requiring a Larimer County recreation pass like many of the other parking spots along Horsetooth reservoir!
