Scramble – Mount Morrison
Mount Morrison's South Ridge trail is a steep, 2nd class route requiring a small amount of scrambling on the summit block. There's about 2,000 feet of overall elevation gain with the summit at 2,403 metres (7,884 feet). Mount Morrison overlooks the famous Red Rocks amphitheater and a large portion of the Denver metropolitan area.

Morning training hike/scramble! We'll meet at the Mt Morrison South Ridge Trailhead (https://g.co/kgs/KRGN3aq) at 5:30 AM. Not sure anyone will even need headlamps as that is close enough to the solstice where it should be fairly light already. Please note there is a short class 3 scrambling section, but mostly there is just vert and dirt.
