Starting from Bear Lake parking lot, hike up to Lake Haiaya on well maintained RMNP trails. From there, ascend the east ridge of Otis peak, which is a light off-trail scramble. Follow the ridge to the summit of Otis, then follow a trail to Hallett Peak, then Flattop and descend.

This hike is highly conditions-dependent, so could be cancelled in case of weather or snow conditions.
