Pueblo Mt Park - Devil's Canyon TH

The Devil's Canyon trailhead provides access to the Devil's canyon trail, Northridge trail, and the Mace trails.

The Devil's Canyon trail is 0.9 miles with a 397ft gain, highpoint elevation being 7052ft at the junction with the Mace trail and is 1.98 mile round trip. It is mixed substrate, soil, rock, and mixed forest with year-round sun-shade mix. It follows a creek bed that can be flowing during wetter seasons and down to a very small trickle found only at the pour-off during the dry season.

The Devil's Canyon trail intersects the Northridge trail on both ends, the first being only about 600 ft up the trail and the other above the pour off and 0.6 miles up the Devil's Canyon trail. The Devil's Canyon trail ends at 0.9 miles, 397ft gain with a highpoint of 7,052 feet at the Mace trail. Hikers often make this a loop hike with Mace or Northridge Trails.  A loop hike with the Mace trail is 1.6 miles with 460 feet gain and a highpoint elevation of 7,103 feet.  The Devil's Canyon loop with the Northridge trail is 2.1 miles with 755ft gain and a highpoint elevation of 7315 feet.  There is a rock window viewable from the open area below the pour-off looking up to the top of the south-east wall.  The pour off in Devil's Canyon can be tricky in winter with ice.
