Mt. Wilcox
Mount Wilcox is an easily accessible 13’er above the Silver Dollar Lake Basin.
Mt Wilcox (13,414') is situated off Guanella Pass. Starting from the Silver Dollar Lake/Naylor Lake Trailhead, Wilcox offers some bushwhacking through willows and a mostly off-trail tundra and Class 2 talus walk. All above timberline, with magnificent views in all directions.
The turnoff to Naylor Lake Rd is located before the Guanella Pass winter closure.
Argentine Peak, Squaretop Mountain, and/or Otter Peak are often climbed together with Wilcox.
