Rim Trail (Uncompaghre NF #122)
A two-track trail off South Divide Road, to spectacular views over the West End.
The Rim Trail #122 begins and ends along South Divide Road (NF road #402). To reach the northwest trailhead, enter the trail/East Spring Creek No. 1 Road and drive about .13 miles to the trailhead.
The trail climbs 500' to the plateau rim, then follows the rim and returns while descending 600' to the southeast trailhead which ends at Divide Spur 9H Road, (#402.9H) which continues on about .2 mile back to South Divide Rd. About 5.5 miles one way and 500' gain. (Hike back up Divide Road for an additional 2 miles and regain 200' to make this a loop.)
