Trip Report

Rock Climb – Clear Creek Canyon

Single pitch sport climbing at Catslab on Tuesday 4/9 from 3pm-630pm. Temps around 60° F ± 5°, roughly 15% humidity, sunny/partly cloudy. Belayers and climbers were in the sun until ~6pm.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles
  • Approach from lot to crag was snow free and dry, we had the entire crag to ourselves aside for a party of 2.

The following routes were led by either myself or a qualified participant then top roped by the rest of the group. Everyone got to climb multiple routes and were able to learn a few things about friction slab. We used 70m ropes and quad anchors with lockers for each top rope, all routes were cleaned by lowering on mussy hooks.
