Field trip: Navigation 2
Nav 2 - Field Day – Little Scraggy Trailhead
This is field day component of TCS Nav2 online course. If you are taking Nav1/Nav2 in modular fashion (separate from TCS Alpine Climbing School), then this trip is for you. Or if are taking TCS Alpine Climbing School and couldn't complete the course with your ACS group, then this is your make-up opportunity. The main focus of Nav2 Field Day is practical application of navigation skills presented via the TCS Nav courses. This won't be a high mileage day. It is important that you come prepared for cold or windy weather and rugged terrain. Most of the route will be off-trail. You may be picking branches out of your teeth by the time we're done..
