The Boulder Group Trip Leader Training Weekend will include Scenario Session training/refresher, Brainard Cabin training, Leader-In-Training (LIT) trip planning and a group dinner.

The weekend is open to all current and prospective Boulder Group Trip Leaders.

Required Equipment

- Waterproof hiking boots or GTX trail runners

- 10 essentials, including extra winter layers, water and a snack

- Traction device (Yaktrax or similar) is recommended, depending on snow conditions

- Sit pad or waterproof sleeping pad is recommended

- Trekking poles are recommended

- A positive attitude

- If staying overnight (recommended), sleeping bag/quilt/blanket, pillow/stuff sack, cabin slippers, overnight toiletry kit
