Fly Fishing School - Denver - 2024

Fly Fishing Course

Fly Fishing School

Designed for both beginning and novice anglers, the CMC Fly Fishing School has a long history and reputation for quality and cost-effective fly-fishing instruction.

Our instructors help students learn in the classroom as well as on the water. Instructors teach students about fly-fishing equipment, casting, knots, flies, fish behavior, wading safety and more! The school includes two evening classes and three field days. Completion of this school (or similar fly-fishing experience) is required for the Denver Group’s Fly Fishing section trips.

The lecture nights run between 6:00pm and 9:00pm.

The first and second field days will start between 8:00am - 9:00am and run as late as 4:00pm.

The find graduation trip is TBD at this point, but expect an early start and finish between 3:00 - 4:00pm.

Please Note: There will be a final, graduation trip on May 18 or 19 that's not shown here. You'll be part of a group and your group's senior instructor will guide that final trip. You'll need to complete the graduation day trip to receive your fly fishing badge.

Badges you will earn:
