Freehub PRESENTS mountain biking film festival comes to back Colorado Mountain Club’s Basecamp on Friday, August 14th! Here's what you need to know to make sure you're ready for an epic night.
What is Freehub PRESENTS FILM FESTIVAL?
Freehub Magazine, a leading voice in the mountain biking world, curates this annual mountain bike film festival and community-driven event series that showcases unreleased short films from some of the best filmmakers and riders. This multi-stop film festival honors top and emerging filmmakers, riders, leaders, and storytellers who will shape the sport for generations to come.
When and Where?
We'll be gathering at Colorado Mountain Basecamp (15605 W 32nd Ave, Golden, CO 80401) on Friday, August 14th.
Doors open at 7PM for the pre-screening festival with local sponsors and film! Join us in the back field for bike, shoe, and gear demos with Golden Bike Shop, Adidas, and Feedback Sports.
The free clinics are now SOLD OUT, but you can join the waitlist (available with ticket purchase):
- Maintenance clinics with SRAM and Golden Bike Shop: The SRAM Ochain Masterclass will be an interactive clinic detailing the benefits and precise installation of the newly acquired OChain System.
- A clinic with Kinetic Flow Mountain Bike coach, Chris Hall: Build confidence and ride smoother on the trail by improving your body position, braking, bike-body separation, cornering, and bike handling. This clinic focuses on fundamental skills that help riders feel more in control and have more fun on every ride.

How Should I Get There?
Given the popularity of this event, we anticipate that parking will be limited. For those planning to ride their bikes to the festival, we have a secure bike storage area on-site, so you can enjoy the films without worrying about your ride. Here is a suggested route from the City of Golden:
Can I sign up for the clinics?
Clinic spaces are sold out, but you can sign up for the waitlist (RSVP with ticket purchase)! If someone cancels, you might be able to participate.

The lineup is a carefully selected, but you can generally anticipate:

Can I bring my own food and drink?
Water bottles are fine, but no outside food is allowed.
