Come climb, slackline, and play games with us after school at the Colorado Mountain Club in Golden. It’s almost summer, school’s almost out, and adventure is right around the corner. Come join us at CMC Afterschool and get a head start on it. Each week we’ll dive into a new game or activity and connect what we’re doing back to the mountains. One week learning to slackline, a sport that started with climbers to build balance that has grown into its own unique challenge. Another week we’ll boulder on our bouldering bus, or climb on our wall, or play teambuilding games that help participants learn to communicate, trust each other, and move together as a team, just like they would on a real mountain objective. Every week brings something new, whether you’re joining for afterschool programs for the first time or coming back for more. Everything we do is designed to build skills that carry over into bigger mountain adventures.
