Island in the Sky is a massive, sheer-walled mesa sitting 1,000 feet above the surrounding terrain in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Located about 32 miles (a 40-minute drive) northwest of Moab, it is the park's most popular and accessible district, offering stunning panoramic views, easy scenic drives, and short walks.
