CMC Trip Leader

This badge represents active trip leader status with the CMC and asserts the leader is current with all necessary certifications and requirements: Trip Leader School, WFA, ATA or AIARE and active trip leading.

CMC Trip Leaders have to maintain their Wilderness First Aid certification. If you have received a notification that your Trip Leader Badge is expiring, it is most likely linked to your WFA badge expiration. Through the Roder Scholarship, we are able to offer free WFA courses for trip leaders that have led at least six trips since their last certification (co-leading is accepted as well).
