Youth Education Program

Established in 1999, the Club’s Youth Education Program (YEP) provides active learning through outdoor and adventure education and reaches over 7000 Colorado youth from diverse backgrounds every year. YEP ignites a connection to the outdoors for Colorado youth by providing opportunities for active learning through experiential and adventure education.YEP connects Colorado Academic Standards with the mountains, providing a unique avenue for improving academic skills.

Schools and Groups

YEP provides multidisciplinary education linking Colorado Academic Standards (CAS) with mountain education. Using an experiential approach YEP courses and camps are designed to present real-life examples of science, math, geography, history, and art in nature.

Adventure Courses

Come climbing or explore the mountains with CMC's Youth Education Program! Specialized 1 - 5 day courses offer outdoor skill-building and adventure! We offer programs for all ages and abilities.

"Our Students were able to challenge themselves and really work together in a meaningful way.  This is a great opportunity for our students.”

- Teacher, Williams Smith High School

YEP relies on generous contributions from donors, grants and corporate support to connect underserved students to nature and our mountains. You can "bring the mountains" to a child in our community with a tax-deductible gift to YEP today.
