TCS Glacier Travel

formerly known as High Altitude Mountaineering School (HAMS)

Glacier Travel is for CMC members who are interested in learning and practicing the glacier travel and alpine skills that are needed to safely climb and enjoy glaciated mountains, including Mt. Rainier, Denali, the Andes. Glacier Travel culminates in a grad climb of Mt. Rainier, Mt Baker, Mt Adams or a similar high, glaciated peak.

In person class dates- Weeknight classes happen on Wed nights except for March 2nd, which is a Tuesday, at the new CMC building. From 6pm-9pm

Weekend classes are TBD based on weather, keep both days open. 

Jan- 6, 13, 20, 23 or 24, 31

Feb- 3, 6 or 7, 17, 20 or 21, 24

March- 2 (tue), 6 & 7, 10

May 1 or 2

Grad climbs and training happen with your team during April, May, June and July depending on the date of your grad climb.
