Nordic cross country ski trip in the beautiful Brainard Lake Recreation Area. We will ski up the Lefthand Park Reservoir Road (closed to motor travel in winter), before heading west on the Little Raven trail; we will return on the CMC Ski Trail, making a loop. We will not encounter any avalanche terrain on this route
This route is not suitable for complete beginners. While there are no large descents, there are areas where you will need to be confident in your ability to check your speed and make turns.
