Backcountry skiing and splitboarding in the Berthoud Pass area. Options include routes directly off the pass or in the Current Creek drainage just on the north side. We'll decide based on conditions and group interest.

All participants are expected to have completed an AIARE Level 1 course. We'll plan to follow the AIARE framework as a way to mitigate risk while touring with a new group. We should have plenty of options for skiing and riding based on the avalanche and snow conditions.

If possible, I'd like to do an initial video call or perhaps a quick in-person meeting as a group to set expectations and get to know each other. On the day of the trip, we'll meet at the Wooly Mammoth parking lot to carpool at 6:30am.
