We will take our time skiing up this closed road.
We will ski 2.5 miles through broken forest with some great views, break for lunch & return.
There is just enough of an incline to make for a nice cruise back to the cars.

We will meet at the Circle K in Leadville; 108 Harrison Ave. Leadville CO 80461
(Please google for directions) at 10:15. We will then drive 4 miles to the trail.
An all wheel drive vehicle is required for the last 4 miles. Contact the leader if you need to carpool.
I will be driving a silver Subaru Forester.
Required Equipment
The 10 essentials.
We will top out at 11,550 feet.
Bring extra layers, snacks & a lunch.
Poo baggies are required if you are bringing a four legged, friendly friend.
If the weather permits, we will tailgate at the TH. Bring a chair, snacks & beverage of your choice, if you care to join.
