Backcountry Skiing/Splitboarding – North Star Mountain

We will skin or walk up a road until we reach the east ridge of North Star Mountain. Then ascend the ridge and ski down. We may also skin up and ski down the hill visible from the parking lot. Elevation gain depends on conditions.

Meet at the Hoosier Pass parking lot with skins on gear by 8 a.m.

Beacon, shovel and probe required. AIARE preferred.  Be prepared to carry your skis/board on your pack.  Expect windy conditions.
