NOTE: The recent Colorado forest fires pose a credible backcountry risk. I shall monitor the local fire threats and air quality index to insure we have a safe backpacking trip. We'll enjoy a bucolic hike through the Buffalo Peak wilderness. Expect to observe the colorful flora and fauna along the multiple streams and watercourses.
