BPX Trip – BPX 2-Day: Goose Creek Trail to Shafthouse from Goose Creek TH
An easy overnight backpack into the unique Lost Creek Wilderness to give you an opportunity to work out the winter kinks in your body and your backpacking kit. We will take an easy hike of 1.5-2 miles in and set up a base camp, followed by an opportunity for a longer day hike to the old dam site at the Shaft House (5 mi. round trip and 800 additional feet), or possibly a steeper hike to see Harmonica Arch up close and personal (approx. 2 mi. RT and 1000 additional feet).

This is an easy hike to a scenic area, although potential day hikes could add as much as an additional 6 miles and an additional 700 feet to the first day's hike.

We will meet at the Twin Forks Park and Ride on Highway 285 at 8:00 to arrange car pools, with a departure time from the Park and Ride by 8:15 am. The traihead is approximately an hour and a half from the meeting point. Detailed information with directions to the meeting point and the trailhead willbe provided as the event day approaches.
