We've all seen the sign on the Greyrock trail proclaiming that the CMC maintains the trail in a partnership with the USFS, and you are an important part of making that maintenance happen! We'll teach you the ins and outs of trail maintenance, and we'll help ensure the Greyrock trail is in good shape after a summer of growth.
Except to carry your pack, a 3lb tool, and your water for about five miles and up to 1500 feet depending on how far down the trail we go. We will stop frequently along the trail to clear brush. The pace will be casual.
We will meet at the northwest corner of the Fort Collins Northside King Soopers parking lot (1842 N. College Ave). We will meet between 8:00 AM and 8:20 AM, leaving at 8:30. From there we will carpool to the Greyrock Trailhead, doing a short intro to how to do trail maintenance at 9:00 AM at the trailhead.
Donuts will be provided at King Soopers!
