Hiking – Bald Mountain from Boreas Pass
Exploratory hike, not to Bald Mtn but over Black Powder Pass. From Boreas (if it is still open) we'll hike north over Black Powder Pass down into French Creek and return. Out and back, off trail.

Off trail hike from the top of Boreas Pass. We'll hike to Black Powder Pass. Rather than turn left to go up Baldy, we'll drop north into the French Creek drainage, returning by the same route. Expect views of the Front and Kenosha ranges.
The Fort Restaurant, Hwy 285 @ Colorado 8 for an 830 departure.
