This is a out-and-back walk on the west side of the Canyon Loop for at total of about 1.5 miles.  We will stop frequently to be educated about different plants.  Please wear hiking boots as the sandy trail can be steep and slippery in a few sections.  We will begin our walk at 9:00AM and return to the trailhead by approximately 11:30AM.  Bring a lunch if you'd like to eat at the picnic shelter after the hike.

Jeanne will send a pre-hike email June 6th as well as coordinate with each person where they wish to meet.

8:30AM Main Betasso Trailhead

7:30AM Coorstek Lot, 710 10th Street, Golden (7:40AM Departure)

I will also add a meeting time/place in Boulder as well if enough people are interested in carpooling.  It will be at the Home Depot with an 8:00AM meeting time, but I'll have to make sure enough people are interested.
