hike #1= Golden Throne, 4 mi RT, 730' views of capitol Gorge and the Golden Throne

hike #2= same TH, different trail thru Capitol Gorge, 2 mi RT, 80' gain, deep canyon, historic inscriptions, short optional climb to waterpocket "tanks".

*participants can sign themselves up without my permission if you are on the event roster, if you are not on the event roster, you'll be hearing from me!

Meet at The Golden Throne trailhead at 1:30pm, which is 10 miles south of the visitor center off the scenic drive and 2.4 miles on the dirt capitol gorge road suitable for cars.

For anyone wanting to carpool to the trailhead, meet at 12:30pm for lunch at the picnic area south of the visitor center on the scenic drive, less than 1 mile on the left after the Ripple Rock Nature Center and before the Fremont River crossing and we'll leave from there.
