Hiking – Catamount Ranch - Raspberry Mountain Loop
This trip starts at the Catamount Ranch Open Space and will be a loop hike including an ascent of Raspberry Mountain, with incredible views of Pikes Peak, The Sangre de Cristo mountains, the Collegiate Peaks, the Mosquitos and the Tarryalls. Along the way we will access long forgotten spots such as an old Boys Scout camp and a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp from the 1930s and follow the Ring the Peak trail.

This hike will be a combination of easy trail surfaces, steep social trails, some crossing of downed trees and light scrambling to the summit of Raspberry Mtn. Although it is a moderate hike it still requires good fitness, having the right equipment for the elements and some experience with off trail footing.
We will meet at 7:30 am at the Catamount Ranch Open Space parking lot off of Edlow Road outside of Woodland Park (with Google Maps use "Catamount Recreation Area, 3168 Co Rd 28, Woodland Park, CO 80863" for your search). The trailhead parking will be on your left and there is a toilet at the TH.
