Hiking – Corral Bluffs Open Space

We will be hiking on a trail on open sagebrush terrain. We will be hiking in the bottom of the wash; there could be mud in spots. Long pants might be helpful. Bring foods you can snack on. 

There are 2 waivers that must be signed and turned into our guide 1 for city of Colorado  Springs, and 1 for Corral Bluff Assoc. You can find the forms using these weblinks: Corral Bluffs Alliance Instructions and Information  and  Hike Waiver Forms . Please print these these documents, sign and give them to Linda when we meet in Denver day of the trip. 

There is a small possibility that Jax may not be able to do the trip due to medical concern & we won't know until 12/1 or 2, (Mon/Tues). If she has to cancel we will go to Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs and do a 4 mile hike around the spires at the Garden of the Gods. Trail is easy, approximately 1 mile on pavement, the rest good trail maybe 500 ft elevation gain. 

Meet at Southmoor Park & Ride, meet at 7:15am and depart by 7:30 am. Far NE corner of RTD bus parking lot, I25, exit 201, Hampden Ave, Hwy 285 Exit East. Get in far right lane & turn right on Monaco Ave where King Soopers is. Go approx 1/2 mi and turn Right into Park/Ride. Meet in the far NE corner of parking lot, closest to Monaco Ave.

We are meeting at Loaf & Jug store, 6857 Space Village Ave. (Loaf N Jug - https://maps.app.goo.gl/V5uCeaTLcremypZT9oogle Maps) We will meet our guide there, and they will take us to the open space park. We plan to meet park guide at 9am.
