Please wear long pants. We will be hiking thru a trail on open, sagebrush terrain, often in river bottom.

Participants will be sent a link to 2 waivers that you need to sign and turn into our guide on day of trip.
Meet 7:30AM at Southmoor Park/Ride, Denver, at Far NE corner of RTD bus stop, Exit 125 East, get in far right lane and turn right on Monaco Ave just after King Soopers.
We will then drive to Colorado Springs, CO, near Peterson Air Force Base. We will have a guided tour. We will see possible vertebrate & leaf fossils.
We will meet our guide, Jax at 6857 Space Village Ave, Colorado Springs, at the Loaf & Jug store at 9AM. She will take us to the open space park

see above notes. Trekking poles may be beneficial as we are walking thru a river bottom.
