Depending upon the weather conditions there may be a need for some traction for ice.  The leader will communicate weather conditions before the hike.  I will have some CMT wood specimens for viewing used to determine the age of a tree, through dendrochronology and analysis of the tree.  Trees have been cut with permission.

Heidi Wigand.Nicely, an officer and member of the Native American Special Trees and Places, NASTaP.org will be sharing her knowledge of the trees.

This is a dog friendly hike for well behaved dogs.  They must be kept on a leash at all times.

We will meet at Fox Run Park at the TH on Roller Coaster Rd at 10:00am.  From I-25 take the Baptist Rd exit 158 and go east 4 mi's and turn right on Roller Coaster Rd, go about 1/4 mi and the TH is on the right.  There's a restroom.  https://goo.gl/maps/Wh4SxCFRU6QgVPwN7
