This is a wonderful, one-way hike that has it all - hiking through trees (with previous bear sighting), by lakes, a section above tree line, and the chance to see waterfalls on 10 Mile Creek. It's a long hike with many ups and downs. There are some challenging water crossings (depending upon recent conditions) so hiking poles are strongly recommended.

If the Leaders have not hiked with you before or relevant experiences is not shown in your CMC Activities list, you should expect a call to discuss whether this is the right hike for you. There are no options to cut the hike short. This is not a hike for beginners.

Here is a link to our hiking route.

Meet at Wooly Mammoth BB at 6:15 am for a 6:20 departure.  There will be a comfort stop en route at the Georgetown Visitor Center.

As the hike is one way - we need to arrange a short car shuttle. We will drop a couple of cars at the N Tenmile Creek TH  (400 W Main St, Frisco, CO 80443), then proceed to the Wheeler Jct TH (Wheeler Junction, Copper Mountain, CO 80443).
