Exploratory hike to Sentinel Point, via the Horsethief Park trail ... We will meet at Safeway in Old Colorado City... leaving no later than 6:00 a.m. The TH has been very very full the last times parking there so important to get up there as soon as possible.

I'm planning this as an exploratory hike to Sentinel Point, via the Horsethief Park trail.
Our round trip distance could be as short as 6 miles or could be as long as 8 miles.
We will leave Safeway in Old Colorado City at 6:00 a.m., to carpool to the TH.
