This will be a moderately paced loop hike on the Lincoln Mountain and Palmer Divide Ranch trail systems. We'll follow a combination of the Palmer Divide Ranch Loop and Lincoln Mountain Loop, gaining elevation gradually as we climb to the top of Lincoln Mountain before continuing through rolling grasslands, forested sections, and open meadows. Expect a mix of smooth trail and rocky, uneven footing, particularly on the upper portions of Lincoln Mountain. We'll enjoy expansive views of Pikes Peak, the Rampart Range, and the surrounding Palmer Divide throughout the hike. Participants should be comfortable hiking 8+ miles on varied terrain and be prepared with adequate water, sun protection, and layers for changing weather conditions.

Meeting place will be at the Lincoln Mtn trailhead at 9am.   More details will be sent to participants prior to the trip.
