Hiking – Missouri Mountain - West Ridge

We will ascend via the West Ridge. When requesting permission for joining the hike, please detail what high peaks you have recently hiked and your pace. For those who have joined my other recent CMC hikes, we will go at a faster pace than the Blue Sky and Quandary hikes.

We will meet at 5:15a at the north end of the North Railroad Parking Lot in Buena Vista to consolidate into one or two 4WD vehicles.  We will drive up Forest Road 381 to park near Clohesy Lake. I’ve driven it previously and can take 3 others from BV. If there is another good 4WD vehicle, the group can be up to 6 people total.

Hiking start time will be 6:15a. I will be staying near BV and can help organize a carpool from the front range if there is interest.
