Hiking – Mount McConnel
This is a FAMILY hike intended for families with children or grandchildren age 10+. Hike to the summit of Mt. McConnel and enjoy views of the Poudre Canyon on this 4.6-mile loop hike. The hike includes portions of the Kreutzer Nature trail, which has many interpretative signs along its length with information about local geology, ecology, plants, and animals.

This hike is intended for FAMILIES with children/grandchildren age 10 or older. Preference will be given to participants who sign up as a FAMILY (at least one adult and at least one child)--please email the trip leader BEFORE registration opens to sign up your family, with names and children's ages.
After registration opens, anyone may join the hike.
We will set a pace that accommodates all trip participants.
We will meet at the NW corner of the King Soopers parking lot, 1842 N College Ave, Fort Collins, at 7:15AM for 7:30AM departure.
