Trip
Hiking – Mount Rosa
This trip starts at the Rosemont parking are on Gold Camp Road and will be an out-and-back hike including an ascent of Mt. Rosa, with incredible views of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Massif. We'll start by hiking Frosty Park Road until we reach Nelson's Trail #672. Next, we'll branch off onto the Mount Rosa Trail #673, which will take us to the summit. Given recent weather, I don't anticipate snow or ice, but if conditions change, this hike may require microspikes and/or snowshoes.
