This is Alise Gladbach's 14er Finisher! We plan to celebrate her and this amazing accomplishment!
The NOAA forecast is showing a low of 22 and a high of 38 degrees with a west wind 10-15 mph. This gives a wind chill in the 20's for all day. However, no chance of snow or rain as we will have completely sunny skies all day!
Please plan on hanging out at the TH afterwards for a celebratory tail-gate party to raise a glass to Alise!
We will meet at the Mt Elbert North trailhead at 6:00am.
From U.S. 24 just south of Leadville, turn onto Colorado 300. Drive 0.7 mile, turn left onto County Road 11 and continue another 1.2 miles before turning right onto the Halfmoon Creek road. Reset your trip odometer and follow the Halfmoon Creek dirt road for 5 miles to reach the Mt. Elbert trailhead, on the left.
We plan to be hiking at 6:30am.
Required Equipment
