The hike goes up on trail to a saddle. From there the group will go along a faint trail to two overlooks to the east (one offers a very short class 3 scramble ... everyone does not have to do the scramble). We will then retrace our steps past the saddle to an overlook to the west. After this we will go off trail to the north to hit the Crosier Mountain Trail, on the way we will search for the Heart Rock. The group will follow the trail north for "a bit" (a technical term) then cut off trail to "peak?" 7251. After "summiting" we will go off trail to the south past an old mine, climb back up off trail to the saddle, and then down the trail to the trailhead.
The meeting time and place will be emailed to participants a couple days before the trip. Note the trailhead is off of US-34 between Loveland and Estes Park and does not have much parking.
