Sullivan Gulch

A trailhead off US-34 with many alternatives once you reach the ridge.

A ravine on the Big Thompson River in Roosevelt National Forest.  The first mile climbs a steep, forested draw to a saddle, where it opens up to panoramic views of the Big Thompson Canyon, Signal Mountain, and Palisade Mountain. There are several places near the summit that make a nice place to have a picnic. 

The trailhead has a small gravel pull-off along the north side of US Highway 34, directly off the highway, just west of Waltonia Road.
